Cash game or tournaments?

I don't like cash games. More specifically, I don't like my results in cash games. In tournaments, my results are much better and that is why I prefer regular MTT tournaments.

I like a lot of cash games as many sites allow you to search the tables and identify players that I have color coded both good and bad. A lot of grinding though!

I love both tournaments and cash games equally. When I have a lot of free time, I will gladly play MTTs, when I have little time, I play SNGs or cash games. I love poker and for me it doesn't matter whether it's tournaments or cash games. Cash games have the advantage that I can get up from the table at any time and go do other things. But in cash games it's hard to win a lot of money, but if I get to the final table in a tournament, then I can win a good cash prize. I choose one discipline or another, depending on my mood.

I probably do this backwards, but when my bankroll is small I play cash games to build it up quickly. I play tournaments when I have plenty of cash, I always have time as I am retired.

I prefer tournaments, but lately I decided once again to try and teach myself patience to play cash games. Every previous time resulted in hundreds $ lost 😁😁

I'm again playing only nl2 until I win there something which could be qualified as a proof that I passed this limit. But it's like a side thing. The main and my preferred format is still MTTs. I just don't really like the inevitability of the long sessions and limited schedule which come together with this format.
