Cash game or tournaments?

I love the flexibly of cash and win a bit more and more often from cash overall.

The competitive side of me and coming threw a huge field to make a final table and win is alluring, satisfying, gives me such a thrill and rush I just can't completely give up playing the odd MTT here and there. Play mainly cash now days. MTT's are probably my biggest weakness/leak/tilt .

Personally I like to play tournaments. They fit what I want to achieve in the game and life. Cash is just that. It is for cash. While winning money is good in poker it just does not give me that thrill I like. winning.

The truth is that Poker in its CASH modality scares me a bit, because I have heard some commentators and players say that Cash players are better than tournament players, and one looks for a way to increase their banking in the fastest way.

But, on the other hand, it is well known that to get good results in Tournaments, there is a lot of variance.

Tournaments attract me more, but you have to spend long hours and you have to adapt to the time and day that the appropriate tournaments are for each person. On the other hand, Cash has the advantage that you can play a table at any time you want.

In conclusion, the road to the top in poker is not easy nowadays.

I find cash games better. No one really bluffs or chasing gut shots. Or low flushes. Recently I've been getting hammered due to people just playing super loose. I get their strategy. When early get chips then play tight. (At least that what I think their doing). Just gotta hope to get on a good run every now and then. Stay above average. I've watched a few high stakes games online. And I see the loose play and card chasing there as well. So I know it's not the sites just picking on me.

The flexibility of the cash tables is really tempting, I particularly prefer the tournaments, that's where I got better results.

well i prefer tournaments ..because its not that risky ... on cash games you may lose all your money just on a hand ..at least at tournaments the buy in is predetermed and you are ok with losing that amount ... and you focus and play as much as you can to finish on a high spot on the tournament,

On-line I stay away from cash games as it is so easy to lose big and fast! So I play more SnGs and MTTs.
In a live game I can get more information from players I am up against and can judge better when I need to raise, call or fold. You could say "I like to see the White of their eyes"
