I've been playing only tournaments for the last year. Tournaments are a really exciting challenge.

I prefer tournaments. For whatever reason I have good results in tournaments; lousy results in cash games.

What do you like to play mostly? Cash games or tournaments?
Online cash games compared to live games can be quiet nervy, maybe play sit n go's if you don't have time for tournaments, sit n go's can help you move forward especially if you run deep in tournaments

I prefer tournaments because there you still have the feeling of competition. In cash games, it's all about how to get maximum profit from your opponents. It reminds me more of a survival fight. A good example would be box fights and street fights.

if you don't like tournaments, you'll make it to the final table of 10,000 people and you'll love them😊

As you know, poker is a game of skill, and cash is the best fit for this definition. Having received the necessary skills, the player can minimize losses and have a stable income. This is a low luck factor.

Tournaments without a doubt, for both things you have to study to make it profitable. Today I only dedicate myself to tournaments, at some point I will start studying to get the most out of the cash game tables.

I've been wondering the same question, the problem with the cash games is that you can lose a lot of money in a few hands, but if you win the award could be high, now it will be up to you, if you want to take the risk

It is true that in cash you can enter and withdraw for as long as you want, on the other hand you cannot leave tournaments until they eliminate you or as far as it is possible for you to go, I think it is a matter of the time that each one has to develop their game, although behind there are always several factors that I have not mentioned, in reality I do not want to make my comment very extensive

Hey guys!

While both offer distinct experiences, playing tournaments might be considered a more attractive option for non-professional players like me. Tournaments can be more rewarding in terms of excitement, profit opportunities and continuous learning, taking into account the perspective of recreational players.

Tournaments have a progressive elimination structure, with clear goals to achieve, such as reaching the final table. This competitive dynamic creates an exciting atmosphere, adding to the excitement and fun throughout the game. The fact that everything can change with just one hand adds an extra dose of emotion, making every moment an intense experience.

While cash games can offer immediate returns, tournaments have the potential to provide significant profits even for non-professional players. Many tournaments have generous prize pools and even freerolls can award cash prizes. Also, tournaments offer the chance to compete against more experienced players and eventually beat them. This prospect of outlasting skilled opponents and achieving a good financial result makes tournaments attractive to recreational players looking for an opportunity to earn money from poker.

Tournaments also provide an excellent opportunity for non-professional players to continue learning. They provide a challenging environment where you can test different strategies and tactics against a variety of opponents. As the tournament progresses, the dynamics of the game change, requiring players to adapt and refine their skills. This constant evolution in the game allows players to learn from their experiences and acquire valuable knowledge that can be applied in future tournaments and even in other areas of life.

Playing cash games can have its perks, but I think tournament poker offers a more exciting and challenging experience for non-professional players. The excitement, profit opportunities, continuous learning and socializing are factors that make tournaments the preferred choice for those who want to get the most out of their poker experience. In the end, the decision between playing tournaments or cash games will depend on each player's individual goals and preferences.

Personally I prefer SnGs to Cash games, playing them are quicker than an MTT, although I do play MTTs rather than Cash games.
Cash games are different in that playing for real money on every hand can become very expensive and you can lose money fast. They are a different type of poker game with a different strategy needed to be successful, Whereas SnGs and MTTs are Buy-in type games where the only money you lose is the Buy-in they are easier to control and if like me you follow a strict bankroll Strategy they are less expensive.
