Lol. You act as if Stars dictated ANY of the terms of the buy-out/payoff. The DoJ said you pay us and we'll do whatever the **** we want. If Stars wanted to take the deal and get out from under the US government indictments they only had one choice, bend over and take it.

The really weird thing about it all, IMHO, is who lost the most credibility in the whole Black Friday process.

I think the DOJ lost the most credibility. Hell, we all know FTP screwed up, but they even look better than the DOJ !

Lest you think UB/AP lost the most cred, you have to remember they didn't have much before BF.

Last I heard was that they are worthless UNLESS FTP reopens to US players. I had just under 250K.

I think this is one of those situations where we will just have to wait and see. Will we get our money back? Will we just get deposits back? What about player points? Will this happen in the next year or so?

At least there is hope here that we might at least get something back -- unlike previous situations where sites went under (Ultimate Bet and Absolute) or when they had to abandon the U.S. market and just cut off communications and kept our money.

I absolutely can not wait for Pokerstars to come back to the US and I hope NY doesn't keep them from us. Pokerstars was where I learned to play and I love their software so much. It will be a very welcomed change.

Yeah kinda stupid and has no relevance.

It's makes about as much sense as asking row party poker players or any other random poker site row players to stop playing for example until the U.S government pays back full tilt poker players.

I mean; FTP has already paid the money hasn't it and it's just waiting for your government to actually pay the players back now?
