I'm just wondering how much longer PokerStars will continue its Full Tilt experiment, before it is rolled back into the larger PokerStars client.
The takeover of FTP by PS didn't make much sense to me from a financial standpoint, although it did make some sense from an altruistic and marketing standpoint. It was also a big jab at Howard Lederer by the owners of PS.
But realistically, anytime I go on the two sites, PS has over 100k players on it regularly, sometimes over 200k. FTP has 15k to 20k at the height of a day and it is usually around 10k it seems. The marketplace, without the USA, just doesn't seem large enough to support two major poker sites.
I wouldn't be surprised to see FTP get folded into PS in the next year or two.

And after that they are going to open a series of theme parks where you collect playing cards after each ride and make your best hand at the end of the day. Winner gets a giant stuffed bear and a 10% off coupon at McDonalds,What is going to happen is FTP is going to be rebranded. And it is expanding into casino games. Moving in to NJ to take advantage of the new law there, and position itself should something like the King bill gets through.
Pokerstars will remain poker only.
LOL  :icon_thumAnd after that they are going to open a series of theme parks where you collect playing cards after each ride and make your best hand at the end of the day. Winner gets a giant stuffed bear and a 10% off coupon at McDonalds,
I can make up stories too.

Like this:
are you really a troll? The rest is self evident . . . . they are moving in to New Jersey . . .

New Jersey's internet gaming law includes casino gambling, so FTP as a casino site will be able to take advantage of that fact
The King bill also includes casino gambling, should it pass and Rational have their deals worked out in Atlantic City, they will be able to offer casino games, should the King bill pass.
what is it you are missing here?
I just read up on this stuff as I never heardnof it and wow, crazy stuff. Should I find pokerstars sketchy too?
DJ, this is another casino, not the Atlantic Club which is the one that fell through.

Did you all miss the news that the 'Stars buys NJ Casino' failed? And Stars got screwed in the process?
IMHO, The only thing Stars has done that isn't first class, was their decision to not fight the Black Friday charges in court. Wimps in that respect. Else they have dealt with US players at a top notch efficiency.
Let's hope we get 100% of or BR backhttp://fulltiltpokerclaims.com/
well. This is encouraging.
