It's makes about as much sense as asking row party poker players or any other random poker site row players to stop playing for example until the U.S government pays back full tilt poker players.

The deal is complete as far as Stars/FTP is concerned.

Get pissed at the US government if you want but calling for a ridiculous boycott of FTP/Stars is only going to get you laughed at for being dumb.

The situation is completely out of the control of PS and FT's hands now, the money has switched hands. Even if every single ROW player stopped playing at those two sites as part of a boycott and both of those sites went under, it would not get us our money any faster because it has nothing to do with them and the DOJ could care less about those company's because they have absolutely no influence in the US atm.

We are on the player's side. PS/FT have kept their end of the deal and bent over backwards to make sure players were taken care of. It is stupid as hell to advise a boycott. So stop - if you can't get your head around what has happened go post you crap in a forum where fools might fall for your ignorance. Leave it out of mine going forward.

Now if you want to bad the DOJ feel free - they are the reason we don't have our money yet. Other than that consider yourself done with this thread.

I could be wrong, but the way it has been presented so far is that the DOJ is pretty much out of the process now that they have chosen a totally irrelevant 3rd party to return the funds. Hard to imagine that the offer we see will something on the order of 5 cents on the dollar. THIS IS A GUESS! but based on other issues thru my life that show that the fee's claimed for this sort of shit usually eats up close to 90% of the funds involved. Proper palms have been greased, and they are done with it.

The DoJ still has the money and is going to dictate the terms by which it is returned. The 3rd party (Garden City Group) is currently working out details with the DoJ, so they say. There is very little detail available, so it's still 'wait and see'.

If they owe you a large amount of money, or they O a group of you a large amount of money, it would be worth it to pursue this and a civil court. If a jury finds in your favor it doesn't matter if it's one of the poker sites or the department of justice, they would have to pay!

If I were a betting man, which I am not, I would bet that this GCG along with the DOJ will delay this until all but maybe 3 cents on the dollar has been used up via fees (read kickbacks).

We could boycott the DOJ, and in this case the boycott would be to deny them respect. Oh, never mind, they get so little from anyone, that the loss would be negligible.....
