Same here. I have somewhere around $150 on FTP, but never deposited due to freerolls and being staked.

I hope we can get back into playing on FT , I made 1 small deposit and have build it up to around $400. Was going to make a withdrawal back then and all of a sudden it closed up to all the USA players . ..
Would like to see FT back up and running again

I hope that that will be true and that we can get our money, but is there a possibility to transfer the money from FTP to poker stars. I had $120 in FTP, so is there some possibility to transfer that money to poker stars or not?

@Abedin: You can read something about it in the statement from fulltiltpoker.com:
"Can I transfer my FTP funds to an account on PokerStars?
We hope to have the functionality in place to allow inter-site transfers between full tilt poker and pokerstars, so that you can enjoy playing again on either platform of your choosing. We will provide additional guidance on this in the coming weeks."

im not too excited about this though i have a few $$ remaining on FT... most of them from CC's freerolls and $1 tourneys! :))

I wonder will CC still have freerolls on FT to once they get started?
how bout the academy points.. i still got a lot of those.

wish they will still retain the fantasy league at least...

Because people liked the software and didn't like the way the company was run. Now, with PS running it, we get fantastic management and the software that we had before.

Like Blue said, what was so great about FTP, and is it worth depositing there?

I really liked the software when I was able to play. I wish I could join in with everyone when they open back up.

Great software plus new great management=win.

Hi I am new to this site. Do any of you guys play on Club WPT?

I joined only to find out it is not MAC compatible.

I don't own a PC.

Anyone know of a site like that where you can play for prize money on a MAC?

Thanks.

George

Try HogWildPokerLeagues.com. Not sure if it works on a mac but it's the only other one I'm familiar with. Try google if that one doesn't work.

I´m guessing that rakeback will be out of the picture now that Stars own FTP?

Someone ask about why people will like to get back there. In my case the reasons to play there was:

- Rakeback: (on Stars with Silver can get a $10 stellar Reward (750vpps), on Fulltilt with Silver ironman used to get $40-$50 on rakeback.

- Buyins: Fulltilt was running "standard" buyins $1.10, 2.20, 5.50, 11, 22 etc. on S&G´s which make it easier to jump levels vs the 1.50, 3.5 , 7, 15, 30. etc on Stars that needs more BR.

- S&G´s and blind structure: 27 players turbo not exist on Stars. Blinds structure was also different for games , regular games on Fulltit was 6 minutes blinds, turbo was 3minutes. Stars is 10 minutes and 5. some levels are different too, like Fulltilt 20, 40, 80, 100 level vs 20, 30, 50 etc. . fulltilt S&G´s don´t have antes.

Last year Stars try to switch structure to make it "Fulltilt like", changed everything, then put it all back to normal :p

- MTT fields: you could play a nice 500-2000 players Tourny on Fulltilt vs the huge fields of 4000-10000´s on Stars.

- Reward club: Ironman was lot better than Stars vpps. If you miss a day on Fulltilt ironman could buy it on the store and still get your level, if you miss 1 point on Stars you lose your level.

-Sattys, pretty much everything like it more on Fulltilt:(

The question is how different/same will be the new Fultilt.

I think Stars will try and keep Full Tilt as similar to how it was when it was owned by Tiltware. No point in them having two identical sites, they want ones that will attract different types of players.

Google Hustler, which is run by and now called something more respectable, Card Player Poker.....as in the poker magazine you find at most casino's. It is ZEN entertainment I think. Similar thing to Club WPT execpt no monthly fees. Software is not good, largly because it is advertisement driven, but you can win actual cash, I know this because I won some. They automatically sent me a check, I did nothing to request it. If I were to spend all my poker time there it probably wouldn't be all that hard to make a few hundred a month, maybe more. But the software is nearly painful to play. It is better than facebook poker software tho. Think that if online was live, ZEN software seats would all be hardwood, with nails sticking thru the seats. Facebook software would only have a seat of nails, no wood at all..... or one big sharpened spike you could sit on......

They do offer a premium service, with a monthly fee, and those tourneys have bigger prizes.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading in one of the Q&A sessions with an FTP staffer that rakeback would actually be staying / going back to how it was before the shutdown.

IIRC the thing that won't be coming back (at least not immediately) is the FTP Academy and its associated bonuses/rewards.

When I read it, I misread the beginning and thought it said that it was going to be open to us players but than when I read on I realized that this was for something else.

The sooner our US friends are allowed to play the better for all concerned.
