Got like 11 dollars that my "mum" won playing freerolls before the shutdown. Might try to build a bankroll without depositing. Is there a considerable difference in rake between Stars and FT? Dunno if I should swap over...

I'm pretty sure Stars is a lot better rake-wise if you're starting from 2nl... or at least was. Maybe something on the order of 40% less rake at Stars. I'm not really sure what rake structure Tilt will be using when they re-launch, but it will probably be similar to what it was before.

That said, if you are just starting with $11 I don't think it really matters until you build it into a decent enough bankroll -- you're probably just as well keeping the roll on Tilt if you like the software and I'd actually recommend playing the .25c SNG games (if they still have them) until you build the roll up to at least 15 BI for 2nl ($30). Those super micro SNG's were ridiculously soft and a lot less variance then sitting at 2nl with 5 buyins.

I and many others on this site have built 4+ figure bankrolls from zilch, so you are in good company. Tilt always had the reputation of being a little softer than Stars on the whole, and part of it may indeed be due to the absence of nitty 24-tabling rakeback grinders that took advantage of Star's lower rakes.

The freerolls will be a good way to get started and hopefully boost your bankroll. I do anticipate them having massive fields though, so it will take quite a bit of luck to get ITM... but the more you try the better chance you will have of doing so. There are tons of them and a ton of value in them during "Deal Me In" week, so if you have the time to spare I'd certainly recommend regging for as many as you can.

And yeah, even with no SNG experience the 25c games before were so LOL that they should still be pretty easy to beat. Like, I think I cashed in one once not even having played a single hand because people were open shoving KJo for 100bb, and getting calls from hands like 79s. Just read some sort of beginner's tutorial on basic SNG play and you should be good to go and on your way crushing those games.

when logging in stars there is written this with you can make them together or so your balance on full tilt being transferd to the account or some. had 6 dollars on there lol. what a joke xD sure aint gonna have them transferd over i believe it will come to the better later on if they should open again.

Played some FTP yesterday. Just like I remember it, and that's a good thing. Sure it was still play money because real money play doesn't start until Tuesday, but it was still nice Hell, I got quads twice in the same play money step game I played last night. Sucks that it was play money, but quads is quads and it was a nice little "welcome back"

Just after BF, I took all but $15 off FTP so I'm really glad they are allowing transfers from Stars to FTP. Have my accounts linked already and am just chomping at the bit 'till Tuesday when I can transfer some monies over and get back to some 27 player SNG's.

Also Gus Hansen on FTP is the only red pro I see around, playing 25/50 PLO and playing HU 27TD 1k/2k with 80k on the table.
