I think it's just a coincidence. I don't think it's a pattern. But if you see any systematic pattern in this, then think about how you can use it to your advantage.I have this question, it may seem bizarre, but seeing several poker apps favoring players who have more chips, right? Hey, am I going crazy? I've been observing for months and I've come to thi And it's not just me, I've seen several players with a lot of chips win too.
The Astronaut has spoken. It's not rocket science. Very obvious with online poker that what you are observing is fact.
I agree. People are much more likely to remember things that are strange, and stop paying attention to ordinary situations. People are much more likely to remember the moments when they were unlucky than the moments when they were lucky. I think everything can be explained by a simple set of circumstances.I believe most poker sites are not rigged. Its hard to comment without knowing the sites involved.
Generally people tend to remember anomalies more than common occurrences which leads to them thinking they happen more often than they really do.
If you really want to verify it get a very large sample size on your HUD and analyze the results.
In addition its more painfull to lose a hand, when it bust you from the tournament, than when it just reduce your stack, because you had the opponent covered. So losing as the small stack is remembered more than losing as the big stack. In addition like others have said, having a large stack in a tournament actually allow you to open up your range and play more hands especially at the bubble and the final table. The best players in the world do that as well.People are much more likely to remember the moments when they were unlucky than the moments when they were lucky.
I created a similar thread once and almost all players there wrote to me that it's all prejudices and the most important thing is variance. But I also see big stacks eating up short stacks much more often than short stacks doubling up. But I have no evidence for this theory.I have this question, it may seem bizarre, but seeing several poker apps favoring players who have more chips, right? Hey, am I going crazy? Can't really answer your question until I get into a large stack position...LOL.I have this question, it may seem bizarre, but seeing several poker apps favoring players who have more chips, right?
