Do you think poker sites are biased towards those with more chips?

I have this question, it may seem bizarre, but seeing several poker Apps favoring players who have more chips, right? Hey, am I going crazy? I've been observing for months and I've come to thi And it's not just me, I've seen several players with a lot of chips win too.

I think it's just a coincidence. I don't think it's a pattern. But if you see any systematic pattern in this, then think about how you can use it to your advantage.

I believe most poker sites are not rigged. Its hard to comment without knowing the sites involved.

Generally people tend to remember anomalies more than common occurrences which leads to them thinking they happen more often than they really do.

If you really want to verify it get a very large sample size on your HUD and analyze the results.

I've had that feeling, I tried to apply it to my advantage and it didn't work.

I agree. People are much more likely to remember things that are strange, and stop paying attention to ordinary situations. People are much more likely to remember the moments when they were unlucky than the moments when they were lucky. I think everything can be explained by a simple set of circumstances.

In addition its more painfull to lose a hand, when it bust you from the tournament, than when it just reduce your stack, because you had the opponent covered. So losing as the small stack is remembered more than losing as the big stack. In addition like others have said, having a large stack in a tournament actually allow you to open up your range and play more hands especially at the bubble and the final table. The best players in the world do that as well.

And when you play a wide range, then you will more often be in a situation, where you are behind but have equity, and then you will put more bad beats on other players. A simple example is, when it folds to you in SB, you have 50BB, and BB is a mid stack with 13BB. Then it can be GTO strategy to jam any two cards to pressure the mid stack, and when he occationally find a call with a hand like AK, your 72 will have equity and bust him like 1 out of 3 times.

This does not mean, you played poorly, or that the RNG reward poor play, or that the RNG is set up to let the big stack win. Its just simple math, but people get emotional about it and completely ignore the 2 out of 3 times, that AK hold and dubble up against 72. Often this mentally is combined with a lack of poker skills, where people simply dont know, that the opponent did, exactly what he was supposed to, by jamming his 72 into their much shorter stack.

I don't think it can be true, what's tailored for streamers is possible

Maybe you are right, but I remembered my story of playing in a live casino, with real chips.
I was 20 years old and had been playing Hold'em at home for a few months when a couple of friends and I decided to go to a casino in Riga. After figuring out that we needed to talk to the poker room host and get into the 1/2 list, I finally sat down at the table. It all started with some awkward moments as I handed the cash to the dealer before someone nudged me in the side and told me I needed to put it on the felt. With my money on the table, the dealer immediately dealt me the next hand. I squeezed my first ever hand in a casino, DD. At this point, he hadn't even given me any chips, but the action was mine, so I verbally raised. There was a bunch of folds behind me, then the seat right next to me, the same guy who told me I needed to put cash on the table, moved all in for about $100 total. And this is the story of how I played my first hand in a casino, went all in before I even had any chips, and doubled up.

I created a similar thread once and almost all players there wrote to me that it's all prejudices and the most important thing is variance. But I also see big stacks eating up short stacks much more often than short stacks doubling up. But I have no evidence for this theory.

Even a short stack can get more chips if you run it well

I've thought the same thing as you, but that's the variance factor, because know that the best hand doesn't always win or the worst hand loses.

No, players who continually spin up big stacks might just be good players...

Not to mean that in any one instance a donkey can't spin up a stack.

The harder you work the less rigged this game seems.

Can't really answer your question until I get into a large stack position...LOL.

It happened a lot of times, the player with more chips winning with terrible hand against a player with AA KK AK or QQ, I try to believe that the online poker is fair but live poker would probably be more correct.
God bless

Have felt that but it might be that those players are so bad and have lost enough that the rng supports them so they don't leave that's it or maybe platforms bot account I've been to leaderboard early so many time but I get down so quick even playing my best with premiums that it feels like the platform doesn't want me to win but I've also seen players players going all in with rags and hitting a set every freaking time and reaching the leaderboard and staying up there might be luck or something i mentioned earlier just not sure what's goes on these platforms none seems legit to me anymore
Today itself I was playing a satellite on coin poker where a player kept folding every hand and went all in with 10 5 offsuit on cutoff and I had pocket aces on button so it was obvious I'll go all in and I lost there and after that hand I kept getting premium and losing big pots and was out in next 3 hands

That's my impression. A player with more chips against a player with fewer chips, in most situations the one with the most chips wins.

It's easier to win and do well with a big stack. It doesn't make sense though sites rewarding a big stack and risking their reputation is they are a reputable site.

For example, I try to avoid playing against them whenever possible, of course —
because they'll outdraw you with any kind of garbage in their hand
