Posted days ago. Maybe try reading the thread?

More of the DOJ feels better about keeping our winnings than giving them to us. I wonder if it was Charles Schwab instead of FTP in this situation if the DOJ would only return my deposits instead of my account balance.

I am going to make a wild guess that the Gov. is going to withhold a percentage of your bankrolls if they exceed $600.00 as they would at the casinos. This would allow the gambler to file a tax return and pay taxes on their profits as one normally would if one indeed files taxes on online poker winnings. I would seriously doubt that they will refund without a tax id/ssn.

Nah, just like they don't do it at the casino for a cash player cashing out they won't do it here.

So who at the DOJ do we have to bribe in order to get our US friends back online?

OK, Hillbilly, I'll try explaining this to you again seeing as how the first twelve times didn't sink in…

The point is not the dollar. The point is that pokerstars, (not Tilt,) decided that they would not refund any account under $1. That means that PS would be laying claim to every under-a-buck account affected by Black Friday in addition to every account that has been abandoned with less than a dollar. Easily this could amount to a few hundred grand, tax free.

You really think there's a few hundred thousand accounts that are like that? Pretty sure you're in the minority.

Really? We're bickering over a Buck now? A buck? Seriously? Whatever the number of such accounts, and whatever the total balance of those accounts is, I'm sure it is far outstripped by the millions and millions that PS will pay back to make FTP players whole. Money they did not have to spend. Now, I'm not saying PS won't benefit from the deal, but the point is they are the good guys here and you're going to give them grief over a buck. Are you serious????

Tell you what, PM me your address, I'll send you $1 American, and then ban your account so I never have to hear you ****ing whine over a buck again. Deal?

Careful, WVH. I guess a majority of CC members would take you up on that offer. I mean, they've had to painfully post 65 times to get into the freeroll club and now you offer $1 for a single PM? Sounds like a deal many here should be taking...

Defiantly the most +EV move for most, unfortunately for them the deal is only good for the Styb (although I could be persuaded to extend the offer to a few select others).

Anything under a dollar isn't worth refunding. It's not worth a stamp. It's not worth transferring. Bully for them that they can make some money off brewsters millions. Accounts with less than one dollar were always effectively broke. When exactly WERE you ever able to withdraw <$1 from any poker site?

I don't know, he has some classics ;) but combined with his adorable avatar he kind of reminds me of the E-Trade baby.
