By "boycotted" you mean hiding like a coward from the angry Full Tilt mob.dont know why you include phil ivey in that, pretty sure he boycotted the WSOP in protest of players not being paid out

I agree that the others you mentioned were MUCH more culpable, but in the public's eye, Ivey was the face of Full Tilt whether he wanted to admit it or not.Actually no, I'd say you're way off base about Ivey. He had no controlling interest (or rather, interest in controlling) anything at all that went on at FT. That's one thing HL said you can believe, that Ivey could never be reached and resigned from the board for the simple reason he wanted nothing to do with running the company. I think it's pretty clear he had zero visibility into what was going on until everyone else did, and he responded pretty harshly against FT. Not to say his response wasn't in some ways self-preserving, but in that situation I probably would be too.
You can't lay any of this at anyone's feet other than the executives and board members who saw -- or were in a position to see but didn't bother -- what was going on and chose to continue lining their pockets. Bitar & Co are without doubt the most guilty. I can't quite make up my mind as to the degree of culpability of HL and CF, but I think it clear they bear some responsibility if not guilt. As to the rest of the owners/TeamFT, I don't believe they had any idea. That would include Ivey.
I'm still catching up on PokerCast episodes -- I started like 2 years ago listening from episode #1 and have been somewhat anal about listening to them in order without skipping any (a bit eccentric I know, but I am what I am). I'm now less than a year behind (up to #190 or so). But I think I might make an exception and listen to this one now. Where I'm up to is a few months past BF after FT has been shutdown by Alderney, nothing is being communicated, initial deals (like the Binion deal) have fallen through, and everyone is highly pissed off. MJ & Adam are to the point of all but calling HL a crook, so it will be interesting to fast-forward and hear how they treat HL in this interview. The Two plus Two Pokercast episode 239 was so much better than the poker news interview. If you haven't listened to it i would recommend it.

And what exactly was he going to do? Who was he going to give the $5mil to? Did he give it up? Did he even pitch it in (or anything in) when it was requested of him? Also, Dwan is a class act, as he quickly came to the Full Tilt player's defense. And he has more credibility in his pinky tham Lederer, Ferguson, and Ivey combined.
Can't believe anyone is jumping to Ivey's defense. Have you guys listened to the PokerCast broadcast? (Ivey was in no form supporting the players).
Biggest news was to me...cliffs please
i hope it has SOB !I was thinking something similar, Just that He seems to have aged a lot. I bet all this shit has taken it's toll on him.

I have only watched the 1st part but have this so far.....Which part(s) of the interview (if any) was the most enlightening on the events/decisions that led to the complete **** up at FTP?
