Poker can be frustrating sometimes, especially with bad beats, but I believe patience and consistency pay off in the long run. How do you guys stay motivated during downswings?

Totally agree. Downswings are the worst part of poker. When I'm in one, I try to take a short break from the tables to reset my mind. I also spend some time reviewing hands and studying to remind myself that my strategy is solid. You have to trust the process.

I set realistic goals, celebrate small wins to stay motivated, and remind myself that variance is part of poker.

Everyone has their own way to deal with downswings.
I usually take 1 -2 days off and then come back on tables

I stay motivated during by focusing on the process rather than just the results. I remind myself that bad beats are part of the game and that as long as I’m making good decisions, the math will eventually work in my favor. Reviewing hands, studying, and setting small, achievable goals also help me keep perspective. For me, patience and discipline are what keep me grounded and motivated until the upswing comes.

Find Joy in the Process, Not Just the Result: The fleeting high of a win is not enough to sustain a long career. You must find genuine enjoyment in the day-to-day process of studying and playing.
