Make sure to watch the Scavenger Hunt thread for a new post with items on September 8th!If the 3 questions items I answered were accepted by @Special Events, then I believe I have already completed the scavenger hunt. (I had to resend my answer to quote where I find those answers about "Surrender" and "Split")
There is just a ton of good info on the site. I'm finding all kinds of hidden gems.Hi Regie, though Tammy answered your question perfectly. This is a little video about it. It's a part of the free course available here on CC if you haven't seen it.

Absolutely! My favorite is when I can find a double deck (two decks). Gives a little more leeway over single deck, but those are getting really hard to find. Also, the fewer decks the better. Continuous shuffle changed the game.
I didn't really like Blackjack because I didn't see anything special in the game. At first glance, it didn't seem very interesting to me. But I see that I was probably wrong, it's not that simple![]()
I've played Black Jack online and In a couple live casino's. I mean I've played for years. I did not know about the dealer and the soft 17 dealer takes a card. I've always played or thought I was playing Dealer can not take a card on 17. I need to start paying attention to this. Thats a very important factor to the game. I wonder if that has ever cost me $$.There's a lot of them Tammy. Sometimes, in the same casino, you find tables where the dealer cannot hit the soft 17, and tables where he must do so. That's why it's important to pay attention to what's written on the felt before sitting at any table.
Well, on the tables where the dealer hits soft 17, the house has even more edge (Easy to figure out why).I've played Black Jack online and In a couple live casino's. I mean I've played for years. the house always has an edge.Hi @Tero
Yes, a normal deal is started with either 4, 6 or 8 decks of cards, which are held in the "shoe" from which the dealer deals the cards.
You must remember the idea is that the cards get shuffled less the more decks of cards they use. This makes it quicker for the dealer to deal cards. If there were only 1 deck of cards and you saw 3 aces out in the 1st set of hands, it is easy for you to work out how many aces are left.
The more decks of cards, the bigger the edge for the house (the casino).
Thanks for the tips and basic info . I also watched the casino.us lessons . Basic rules are easy to learn . The hard part are all the details , the strategies , the card counting , the different blackjack variances , the winning betting patterns and strategies . A mobile app I think is not allowed live , but I think a chart is allowed for you to have it with you . A chart would be better for me , because yo remember all the all details is a little hard .
Thank you so much, man. Here is a basic strategy card which is usually available at all casinos
started to play blackjack now because of this, if I become rich and retire I'll come back to thank this post
I didn't use any strategies when playing blackjack. I always played relying on luck, generally not so much for the money as for entertainment. Blackjack is certainly an interesting game, but as for stable profits in this game, I have certain doubts that this is actually possible to achieve.
