I’ve been wondering—can poker really be taken as a full-time career? Some players say it offers freedom, big earning potential, and personal growth, while others warn about variance, mental stress, and unstable income.
Personally, I feel it could work if someone has strong bankroll management, discipline, and keeps learning every day. But it seems very different from a regular job with fixed salary and stability.
What do you all think? Is it realistic to play poker as a career, or should it remain a side income / hobby?
