Live - I can see exactly what they "think", are their nervous, "happy" with hand they got, or how they play 5 hand preouvisly before big hand...online you don't have that luxury...😉

Online is very convenient, but real time games feel completely different. What do you like more and why?
It depends on the situation, online generally for convenience. To go to an in-person tournament, you have to be prepared, well-rested (without too much sleep), emotionally healthy, not on tilt, and eager. But I'd say online for convenience; there's no place better than home.

I only play online. I play at home. There is no possibility to play live in my city yet. Therefore, playing online is basically the only option for me.

I like to play online because I don't have much opportunity to play in person. In addition, the logistics of playing personally is more complicated. In online game, we play from anywhere in the world and anytime. I like it a lot!

I prefer to play online because I think opponents would easily “read” me, but live play also has its pluses and advantages.

Definitely live. Since I was a child I've loved playing cards. The feel of the cards in your hand, the sound of their being shuffled, the feel of the chips and the way they sound when you are riffling them in your hand or tossing them into the pot, and the entire sensory/tactile experience. Not to mention the social aspects of playing with other humans. :)

Live poker is also where the memories live. My parents teaching me as a child to play Saturday night before Gunsmoke came on. Games with co-workers at someone's home or in the warehouse office on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. The Sunday morning group at Foxwoods. All of the nice people I've played with in New Hampshire. Sound effects on a machine can't match the laughter, joking, meeting interesting people, and wonderful discussions that you'll find on a live table.

I prefer to play online. I play poker in the evenings, after work. It's convenient and affordable.

Definitely online. Because that is all I know. I could go play live in a casino near me but that would be like a cash game which I do not like. I like to play tournaments.

I get more colorful emotions when I play live poker. Unfortunately, I haven't played it in about 7 years. online poker has become a great alternative in a difficult time. Online poker has also become an important source of income for me.

Online for me. I like to play a lot any time of the day or night, so convenience is a huge factor. If I had to go find a live game every time I felt like playing, I just wouldn't be able to play much at all. I'm signed up for Cardschat League this season and it's definitely going to be a challenge working the regular game times into my schedule for 11 weeks. If they were live it just wouldn't be doable for me.

Playing live poker provides a moment of social interaction and interaction with players through their physical movements, which is not possible to have virtually. This information is valuable to define each play and each bluff. That's why I love live poker.

Well I prefer online because there is very rare some live event where I'm living. But I wish to play love someday with not to big buy-in.

Online. It feels like a purer strategy game. No tells, no table talk, just the cards and the bets. It's a different kind of mental challenge that I really enjoy
