Most women I've played with that took poker serious turned out to be better players and able to think the game at a higher level than the majority of avg male players to be honest. I think such women bluff more than men on avg and get caught doing it way less. I'm the best player in my buddies' 15+ year home game we've been running yet if you asked the rest of the guys who they're more scared to play against in any given hand it'd be my buddies' wife. And I feel the same as them. She's the player that scares me the most when we're in a hand together. She's just as good online as well and without a HUD.

Acho que depende mais do temperamento do jogador do que do seu género. Acho que homens e mulheres blefam da mesma forma, cerca de 50/50. Mas como há muito mais jogadores homens do que mulheres, à primeira vista pode parecer que os homens blefam mais.

You touched on a key issue. There really are more men than women in poker... although women are coming with everything...

A maioria das mulheres com quem joguei e que levavam o poker a sério revelaram-se melhores jogadoras e capazes de pensar o jogo a um nível mais elevado do que a maioria dos jogadores masculinos, para ser honesto. Acho que essas mulheres blefam mais do que os homens na média e são pegas fazendo isso muito menos. Eu sou o melhor jogador no jogo caseiro dos meus amigos há mais de 15 anos que estamos disputando, se você perguntasse ao resto dos caras contra quem eles têm mais medo de jogar em qualquer mão, seria a esposa dos meus amigos . E eu sinto o mesmo que eles. Ela é a jogadora que mais me assusta quando estamos juntos numa partida. Ela também é boa online e sem HUD.

A maioria das mulheres com quem jogo são ótimas jogadoras e criam uma imagem de tight e depois blefam em mãos contra jogadores que não as conhecem. No geral não sei se há alguma diferença, só posso falar das mulheres com quem jogo, e na minha opinião, elas blefam muito mais do que os homens com quem jogo, e deveriam, está funcionando.

I never thought about it but looking back at it. I don't really see a difference in the gender it all depends on the player experience.

Not sure asking about bluffing to gender would give you any substantial data to work with. Sounds to me there is a 50-50 chance to getting the question correct.

Both men and women can bluff, and the level of bluff depends on personality traits, gaming experience and specific situations at the table, not gender.
