If you want to play in smaller fields, then avoid peak hours, which is usually the european time zone evening. The other option is SnGs. pokerstars have On Demand and 18-man games.

PartyPoker and Bwin suck . ACR has many freerolls and private tourneys and micro tourneys , but on the other hand it has far too many ACR bots . They take back most of the money in the prizepool in every tourney . That's a reason never to deposit there .

ACR is a good site for SnGs. There is a weekly leaderboard, and they have On-Demand games, which on the final table is just like a small MTT. There might be some individual players, who cheat, but there are certainly no "house bots" or any such nonsense

Micro limit tournaments are filled with inexperienced and novice players. There are more than enough amateur players here. The large playing fields and unusually wild action that are the norm in these competitions can be frustrating for the new poker player.Inexperienced or new players who don't really know what they are doing. They make decisions instinctively, unreasonably, without relying on poker knowledge.Play at PokerStars.
