Hey CardChat family! 👋

Poker offers us plenty of opportunities, from freerolls to high roller tournaments. And no matter what kind of bets we usually play at, there's always the tournament we remember as “the most important chance” . 🚀

So here's my question for all of you:
👉 Which most expensive buy-in tournament have you ever participated in?
👉 How did it feel when I sat down and played this game? Exhilarating? Is it scary? Both? 😅
👉 Did you participate in a satellite tournament or did you pay the full buy-in?

My bankroll usually allows me to play at small bets, but sometimes I try my hand at satellites. Even if I don't win big, the experience is worth it — playing against stronger opponents teaches me a lot! 📚

I suppose some of you played with buy-ins of $100, $200, or maybe even higher, while others might share stories about the satellites that led to the big tournaments. This is what makes poker so amazing: you never know when a small freeroll can open the way to a big tournament. 🌟

I'm looking forward to hearing your stories — maybe they'll inspire us all for the next throw! 💪🃏

I once finished in the top 3 in a freeroll that got me an $888 ticket, which is my most expensive buyin.

530€. I triple barrel bluffed into a flush and was first one out :censored::giggle:

I played three satellites and won two, sold one of them for 500, so it wasn't super expensive overall

530 евро. Я сделал три барреля блефа, чтобы собрать флеш, и выбыл первым.:censored::хихиканье:

Я сыграл три сателлита и выиграл два, продал один из них за 500, так что в целом вышло не очень дорого.
I very rarely bluff, well I'm just learning:)

Cool! I also played 1 tournament for a satellite ticket, for 520 dollars, but it was unsuccessful.

Мой банкролл невелик. Я хочу, чтобы он рос, но пока он маленький. Я продолжаю стараться. Я проигрываю больше, чем выигрываю.
I have the same problem now:)
