Last night, I played the freeroll on ReplayPoker. There were 25 places paid but only CardsChat cash for the first five places. I had made an incredible comeback from a couple of hundred chips but with 6 players left and blinds of 10k, 20k I was in the small blind and had less than 500 chips left if I don't call. There is a raise then an all-in from the second low stack.

I had jacks. What do I do? If I fold and the short stack wins, there is no way back. If I call I can not only win the hand but perhaps advance a place or two. I figured the other short stack had a big hand but called anyway. He had K9, suited I think. The raiser had AK and won when a king flopped. Bye bye.

So what would you have done?

If you fold your small blind and will only have 500 left, with the blinds at 10k-20k, with any hand, let alone JJ, I’m putting the last 500 in no problem. If you fold and only have 500 then you have to just go on an incredible heater to win. I’m not saying it can’t happen but you are almost never going to win here.
I would go all in and hope for the best I think.

Is this really a question with 500 chips left, JJ in SB and blinds of 10'000/20'000?

Apparently it is as the two others who replied have given two different answers. Have your say.

I call and lose! I call with any two cards! You have a chance to win!

With such a tiny stack and pocket Jacks, the right move is to call. JJ has strong equity against a short stack shove, and folding down to just a few chips with huge blinds leaves you dead anyway. You just got unlucky this time – long term, that call is profitable.
