Hi everyone!
I’ve been thinking about this question: what’s better for improving in tournament poker — playing many tables at once to “get more reps” and gain experience faster, or focusing on just 1–2 tournaments to really dive into each situation?
On the one hand, multi-tabling helps you go through more spots quickly and not get too attached to a single tournament. But on the other hand, when you play fewer tables, you can pay more attention to opponents’ actions, plan hands more carefully, and practice reading situations.
What do you think is more effective for long-term growth?
And how did you personally train when you first started playing tournaments?
