Best place to start is freerolls build a bankroll, then move up the levels until you stop winning, were about that is how good you are, professional poker player would be the ultimate end.

Do you think it is possible to become a professional poker player starting from freerolls?
It is possible, but it requires a lot of dedication and discipline. And I'd say that you don't have to go crazy or expect that it will come fast and easy.
Meanwhile, it has to be something that you enjoy and always look for keep learning.

It's easier to learn poker online, because you play a higher volume of poker compared to live. But I think the big bucks are in live poker. And from what I observe, freerolls, to me, are more like bingo playing than actual poker. Just my opinion.

Do you think it is possible to become a professional poker player starting from freerolls?
Freerolls are a great way to familiarize yourself with the game, gain playing volume, and gain experience, as well as build a decent bankroll. However, if your goal is to become a professional poker player, there will come a time when you'll have to stop freerolling and start playing for paid buy-ins, as the players' mentality is different, and poker is about people, not cards.

I think its a good start. Youre getting used to being more calm in games since youre not putting any money, and then after you gain experience you can start playing for your money and try to stay as calm as you were before.

Yes, it's possible to start with freerolls, but it requires a lot of discipline, study, and patience to turn small winnings into a real bankroll.

Set yourself a challenge, like turning $0 (playing freerolls) into $100 or even $1,000. It can be a really fun experience — I’ve tried it myself!

Are we talking freerolls exclusively? It would be nearly impossible but if you just mean at the start sure it's possible.

It’s definitely possible to rise from freerolls and become a successful recreational poker player. In fact, some freeroll players who started just for fun eventually made the leap to professional play. 🎯♠️💰

I think yes, because you need to start learning somewhere at the beginning of your journey.

Freerolls are definitely a good place to start, but you need to move on after a while.

Hey dang,
i think it is really possible and a healthy start. Transitioning from freerolls to a professional poker career involves a long, dedicated path of continuous learning, disciplined bankroll management, and significant skill development, rather than a direct path. Freerolls offer a zero-risk way to learn and practice, but they are unlikely to lead to substantial winnings; instead, you must progress to real-money games, study advanced strategies, learn to manage your funds effectively to survive the game's inherent variance, and consistently play against better opponents to improve your game.

I wish you the best,
Natox
