Freerolls. Is it easier to play if you focus on this modality?

Today I finally won a worthwhile Freeroll, 2nd place in the Bronze Level of the Cardschat 888Poker tournaments. It was $15 to compensate for all the freerolls I played this week, and today there were a total of 3 Freerolls that I won prizes, totaling $16.14. Actually, I already won a Ticket worth $22 in Freeroll, but it didn't help because when I went to use the ticket it already fell into the first hands with QQ. The point is that I have been playing only Freerolls for almost a week, yesterday I was 12/2600 in one, 2/600 today, it seems to me that to play Freeroll we have to play completely differently than usual, creating a new style of play, which would explain why it is so difficult to maintain a solid game if the value of the Buy-ins varies a lot. I just think so, and my conclusion for this week.

Freerolls can be fun and profitable . Just get ready for crazy beats and lots of luck, good and bad . Many entrants dont really try to play patient poker and just throw the chips in haphazardly . The chip stacks can fly up and down like crazy !

if you play 3 or 4 at once something always seems to be happening . throw in a ring game or two at the same time and you'll have all the action you can handle !

You said it all. To play freerolls, you have to forget everything you know about traditional poker and relearn the game. Freerolls are like crazy shootouts. No matter how good you are, the risk of dying from a stray bullet is enormous. On the other hand, there's no investment other than time. So why not?

Just be careful not to activate the wrong mindset. There's a mindset for freerolls and another for tournaments with paid buy-ins. Don't mix things up.
