What do you think of players who start up in tournaments with trash hands at the start of tournaments, and I see that there are more and more players on CC

You want to play hands with the fish, enjoy them while you can.

Vous voulez jouer avec les poissons, profitez-en tant que vous le pouvez.
Unfortunately, on ReaplayPoker, these players often win with trash hands.

Well now if the trash hands win the other players hand could not have been very good either😎...

Players are different, some are bad and some are good, some are stronger and some are weaker, some are in a good mood and some are in a bad mood, some play for fun and some play to earn extra money. I think everyone has the right to play as they see fit. Poker, and especially online poker, is always 50% luck, and if today wasn't your day, maybe tomorrow you'll have better luck :)

In freerools some players just want to have fun or “go strong or go home”, because its literally not their money but their time. If you want a more serious game, then even a $1-2 MTT will usually have that.

I agree with the general consensus here, lots of players shove all in with nothing hands hoping for a miracle in freerolls and everyone has their own reasons. Some players are in a rush or multi tabling playing a more important tournament other times it’s new players learning the game. It’s all just part of poker. The higher up the buy in the less this happens.

Exactly. Even if you play something like a $5 tournament, you will still see some players make wild plays like jamming in 49BB on the flop in a 5,3BB pot. It will just happen less frequently than in a freeroll. There is no rule in NLH about, how much people can bet, so its always up to us to adjust to, whatever sizings they are using. And if they make some massive overbet, we can just fold, unless we have a very strong hand.

I don't play freerolls or take them serious the few times I do play them. Their more like bingo than poker. I also believe they help players form bad habits.

With that said in cash games I like have at least 2-4 of these players. They're easy money.

Cheers!!!

NNormally in freerolls players run out of patience and do this to double down and try to reach the final table or leave quickly.

I just played this hand in the gg poker cards chat freeroll. This is a prime example of why you shouldn’t take them too seriously.

This guy is in 1st place calling stacks off with any 2 cards and has knocked out several players including me. The point is these things never happen further up the stakes and it’s just the price of doing business when it’s free.

Embrace it. Laugh at the absurdity and enter the next free event and prepare for more shenanigans 😂

I'm just used to the fact that most players don't play poker but just have fun. A2 is already a very strong hand for them, sometimes they raise the stakes from 82 different colors, and when you raise, they go all-in

The same scenario happened to me in a CC freeroll when the chip leader called my large bet on the flop giving pot odds of 2-1 (with 4 outs having odds of 10-1 to call). I was PO’d when he hit his straight on the river.
