What is your favorite pair of cards and suit to start with?
And which one will you play with even if you have to go all-in?

If you're going all in with any stack, it's just AA or QC with other cards, there's already something to think about

AA/KK for all in.
In poker, I’ve always loved connectors like KQs, QJs, JTs. I don’t know why. When I was a beginner, I just liked these hands, and years later nothing has changed. I just like them, that’s all.

With AA or KK I can always go all-in without hesitation. But when I have a 10BB stack, I also like to play suited connectors — I’m ready to call a raise and see the flop with them.

Hey Vladimir,
starting hands should always depend on your Situation. For a rule of thumb, take hands with good postflop playability including high pocket pairs (AA, KK, QQ, JJ), strong suited cards like Ace-King (AK) and suited connectors (e.g., T9s), suited gappers (e.g., 97s), and suited high cards (e.g., K9s). These hands allow you to build strong hands and draw to straights and flushes, giving you more options to play on later streets.

Good luck,
Natox

AA, KK , but I'm really angry when I go all-in with KK preflop, he calls with A2 and gets the A.

AA/KK. Everything else I can fold pre-flop if forced to call an all in or going all in generally, but this is going to depend on how many big blinds I have, how many opponents are in the hand, the table image of my opponent, where we are in the tournament, like is this the bubble, final table bubble, start of the tournament, ITM, etc. Good luck!
