How many tournaments per day should a beginner start with, at what limits, and in which rooms?

I started out playing small buy-ins, usually in the $1–$5 range, and limited myself to up to 5 tournaments per day. That way I could focus on learning the game, manage my bankroll safely, and slowly build confidence before moving up in volume or stakes.

If you're a beginner, I suggest to start with 1 or 2 tournaments per day. Avoid GG and pokerstars, try some softer sites like 888poker or WPT, and aim to $1 to $5 buyins.

When you feel comfortable, try 2 tables at the same time.

I started at 888 Poker. Later, there were other poker rooms. I sometimes registered at a dozen or so. I started with micro-stakes and freerolls. I played several MTT tournaments a day, plus cash games and S&Go tournaments. Over time, the stakes increased, but the number of tournaments decreased. Today, I play in several poker rooms, 1-2 tournaments a day, plus a few DoN S&Gos and cash games, usually $5-10. Then, of course, there are the CC freerolls.

play 1 or 2 tables at the $1 stakes would be my advice, definitely do not start at $5 unless you have the roll for it

For me a good place to begin is with $1 45-man On Demand SnGs on PokerStars. These are not to fast but also not to slow, since they are usually over in a little more than 2 hours. How many, you play per day, depends on, how much time you have, and how comfortable you are with multitabling. If you are totally new to poker, then start with one table at a time, and when you feel ready add another.

From 1 to 5 tournaments a day is good to start, try different types of tournaments such as reward tournaments, MTT tournaments, cash games or Sit&Go tournaments, etc. Find out which one is right for you

I registered on poker stars and GG poker, I don't register in other rooms, I don't have enough money to get more with bonuses. I plan to register a new room as the money comes in, at least 50 dollars. Is there a sense in it, or better to distribute 10-20 dollars each, but at once?

I think a beginner should start small, maybe 1–2 tournaments per day at the lowest buy-ins. That way you can focus on learning without too much pressure, and later add more volume once you feel comfortable.

It depends on your bankroll, I think that one or two tournaments will be optimal, you can try Sit Go at PokerStars, there are not many players and you can understand how to play

This can be a process of elimination. Every player is different, personally I like to play one tournament at a time so I can can give my focus to it but on the flip side my brother likes lots of tables going at the same time.

You should be playing buy ins of around $1-5 to begin with this will help limit any loss and if you look for the tournaments with big guarantees you can potentially take a big score for a small investment.

The freerolls here on Cardschat are a great way of refining your game and offer great prizes. Good luck 🤞
