Dear all,

you probably know this situation, you receive a solid pocket pair and decide to 3-bet a raise. You're happy to call the following shove of the short stack since you're the chip leader on the table.

When the cards are revealed, you might encounter an higher pocket pair and are about to tell your chips goodbye but then you flop the nuts - four of a kind!

But be warned, based on statistics, that luck might fire back at you later, even in the same tournament. :)

Nevertheless, I won about 40$ which is my highest win so far and it was approaching 2 AM and bed time anyway. Although a win of this hand might have even brought a bigger win but I shouldn't complain.

Congrats with the win, and yeah both hands are just standard setups. All the chips has to go in, and then there has to be a winner and a loser. Flopping quads was overkill though, so this is a part of your game, that you need to work on :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
