I have a decent chip lead here and blinds are going up big and fast. Over 34 hands, the player who shoved 7.2bb has a VPIP of 14.7. KJs is a good hand to shove but to call one from a tight player? I opted not to. To passive? -EV? From the LJ, there are still several other players to act.

I wonder what the solvers say? What do you other humans say?

NL Holdem $2+$0.10 (120000.00BB)

CO (5.4BBs)

Dealt to Hero: J K

Standard fold. From BB it would be a close spot, buy here u are not closing the action and need to worry about players behind including one player, that can bust u.

The bottom of my range here would probably be AJs and AQo, and these are hands, I would overjam for 25.2BB to not allow big blind to just call and create some massive multiway pot with a stack to pot ratio of less than 1 and a dry sidepot. The only hands, I might call here, would be KK and AA, if I thought, this might induce more action from the players behind than a jam.

One could argue for an even tighter range because of UTGs stats, but in my experience even tight players will usually loosen up, when they are in danger of getting blinded away. So this is not a situation, where the HUD stats would cause me to make any adjustments. I would assume, someone with a 7.2BB stack, who is just about to get hit by the blinds again, is jamming fairly wide, as in fact he should.
