your threshold to continue in a sandwich is always insanely high otf

preflop ive no idea whats your flatting range oop looks like. i assume AJs AQs 77 88 99 maybe TT and all of these can be fit into 4bet or fold range and you dont have headache when regs press gas pedal on you as a cold caller

Preflop
Your hand is a bad shape, if you 4-bet and get action, and you are not getting a good risk/reward 60BB deep. You also dont cover either opponent, which is bad in a bounty tournament. So I dont like to go for a cold 4-bet, and if you call, MP will usually call behind, and then you are basically setmining with 99 out of position and with poor implied odds. Or MP will come in with a 4-bet, which will force you to fold. So 4-betting is a losing play, and calling is also a losing play. Which of course leave folding as the least bad option.

Flop
There are two overcards to your pair, and BTN can have all the overpairs, since he 3-bet preflop. MP is also still in the hand and has only checked naturally to the preflop 3-bettor, so he can easily have you beat as well. So this is also just a fold, and its not a close decision.

Thanks for the replies. I did call here and folded on the flop. I guess in this spots when I had another player that will call most of the times I should have just folded and move to the next hand.

This is just a fold pre flop, if you arrive at the flop like this then easy fold.

We have to build a 3 bet range for the BTN that would then bet this sizing on flop that we a re ahead of----Vs standard $11 players we can discount most small pairs maybe 88 bets here- 98 is not frequent so we have AK-AQ and KQ and 88 is that enough of a range for us to continue? Is this V not standard?
What else can we add to the range that would let us have the correct odds to call?:geek:
