Well i woke up this morning to see Liverpool closed out the inevitable Isak deal.

I genuinely fear for the other teams now as that has to be potentially a world leading front 3 in Isak, Ekitike and Salah - if they all fire, good luck premier league!

Operation central defence now and i definitely feel Liverpool need a quality defensive midfielder to cover for Gravenberch, I like Waturu but better is needed.

Teams have to score when they get chances against Liverpool or they will lose.
The champions have a winning mentality and are never beaten mentally so scoreboard pressure is crucial - you know Liverpool 9/10 are going to get a goal at some point so if you set up defensively, you get what you deserve.
What Isak now gives them is an out and out pace option through the lines and direct as hell - there is no better striker in World football when he is at his best with twisting a defender when tightly marked - he will then like Henry used to - leave you for dead for pace.
Scary times ahead but super exciting ones and I bet Mo Salah and VVD are dead chuffed they signed on...
The counter attack option Liverpool didn't quite have - they now have a nuclear warhead up front.

I've always wondered why people support a certain team, Liverpool fans are one huge family, no matter where you're from, the mentality and spirit of the team captivates you once and never lets go, and of course the anthem You'll never be walk alone

The midfield area is going to be fascinating this year - I don't blame Harvey Elliott for wanting to go- he is quality and deserves regular minutes.
Liverpool are going to have to rotate with intelligence this season but clearly need a fit and in form Gravenberch to keep them solid.
Alexis needs fitness but Curtis Jones provides excellent options.

I think anyone who watched the whole game v Athletico would honestly admit - Liverpool were worth 4 if not 5 goals and lacked a bit of clinical finishing which no doubt Isak will give Liverpool when fully match fit.
Great to see the little King back to his best and despite surrendering a 2-0 lead after what - 7mins? Athletico are too good a team to not come back.
What is scary for any team now is again - if you don't put Liverpool under pressure and score goals - they can and will find a way and I would be shocked if they didn't make at least the semis of the CL.
The premier league? 🤣 its over.
