After the defeat of Real Madrid against Atlético de Madrid and the victory of FC Barcelona over Real Sociedad, Real Madrid is the leader with 19 points, one less than Real Madrid. With two games to go before the Classic, Barcelona is looking to win the game and take a significant advantage. Although the season is long, Real Madrid must win the Classics if they want to win. A loss would be their fifth.

Who comes to the Classic in better shape?

Barcelona definitely looks in better shape right now after their recent wins, and the momentum seems to be on their side. Confidence going into a Clásico can make a huge difference, and they’ll want to take advantage of Madrid’s slip against Atlético.

Still, with Madrid it’s never that simple. Even if their form looks shaky, they have the experience and the individual talent to rise to the occasion. Sometimes the pressure of “must win” games brings out their best, so I wouldn’t count them out at all.
