It feels like this team only wins when I bet against them. My betting score is MLB 188-172 in favor of successful, NBA 166-182 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 9-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 5-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Arizona Diamondbacks at home will beat Philadelphia Phillies in the 2nd game of the series. Arizona has a very difficult schedule, but this is a team with character and will fight until the end as long as it has a theoretical chances. Zac Gallen (his ERA is "4.73") will play as Arizona's starting pitcher. This legendary starting pitcher is in incredible shape. Zac Gallen finished August with an ERA of "2.57", and in September his ERA is "2.89". Zac Gallen has also played 6 games in his career against Philadelphia (his ERA is “2.20”), and Arizona won 4 of them (including 3 home games). Aaron Nola (his ERA is “6.44”) will be playing as Philadelphia's starting pitcher. I have already written that this season is the worst for Aaron Nola. The Phillies have won only 2 out of 7 away games with this starting pitcher in the regular season. Aaron Nola has played 7 games in his career against the Diamondbacks with an ERA of “6.16”, which is a very weak level. Bet? Sure!

New bet: Boston Red Sox on the road will beat Tampa Bay Rays in the 3rd game of the series. The current season is already over for Tampa Bay Rays, but not for Boston. The Red Sox have also won 11 of their last 15 games against the Rays (and the current series is 8 wins). Joe Boyle (his ERA is “4.64”) will be playing as Tampa Bay's starting pitcher. The Rays have only won 4 out of 11 games this season (and 2 home games out of 6) with this starting pitcher. Joe Boyle is a former starting pitcher of the Athletics who has never been stable. Connely Early (his ERA is “0.87”) will play as Boston's starting pitcher. He is a rookie, but with incredible pitching technique. And Connely Early played very solidly in the first two games of his professional career in the League. Bet? Sure!

Today I want to talk about the battle for 6th place in the National League, which gives the possibility to play in the Play-in. New York Mets unexpectedly lost their home series to Washington Nationals and gave hope for the Postseason to San Francisco (who were able to win in the 4th game of the series against the motivated Dodgers), as well as to two other teams: Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds. Now the Giants have two series left against St. Louis and Colorado. The Mets, Diamondbacks, and Reds also have two series left, but each team will have a very difficult series against top teams. I need to end this losing streak today. My betting score is MLB 189-174 in favor of successful, NBA 166-182 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 9-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 5-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Chicago Cubs at home will beat New York Mets in the 1st game of the series. An incredibly exciting series! These teams could be playing against each other in the Play-in, but for that to happen, both the Mets and the Cubs need to hold their positions in the standings. The fact is that New York is 13th in terms of away results, and I have serious doubts that the Mets will win the current series. At least, they have very little chance in the 1st game of the series. Cade Horton (his ERA is “2.66”) will be the starting pitcher for Chicago. He is the best starting pitcher in Chicago’s roster and the only one with an ERA below “3.00”! Moreover, Cade Horton has been playing very well for the third month in a row. His ERA was “1.52” in July, “1.20” in August and “1.10” in September. Chicago Cubs have won 15 out of 22 games in the current regular season when Cade Horton was their starting pitcher. Bet? Absolutely!

Matthew Boyd (his ERA in home games is “2.45”) will play as Chicago's starting pitcher in the upcoming game. The Cubs have won 11 out of their 14 home games this season with this starting pitcher. Johan Tong (his ERA is “5.94”) will be the Mets' starting pitcher. He's a rookie who has played only 4 games in the League, and he completely failed in 2 of them. Yes, Johan Tong is very talented and I see potential, but he is very weak when it comes to pressure. Bet? Absolutely!

Real Oviedo vs. Barcelona
An interesting match. I suspect Barça might relax when they see Real Oviedo on the schedule, rush off to a party with their star player, and end up sleeping through training. Flick doesn't respect that kind of thing and can bench anyone. Players like Mamadou Mbacka, Jofre Torrents, and the like will have to start. That's just not a level playing field. Oviedo will lead 3-0 by halftime, and in the second half, when all the visiting team's leading players are on the field, they'll be desperate to defend their comfortable lead. Barcelona could score two, primarily through Yamal, but they'll lack the composure for a third. I expect the home team to win due to non-footballing circumstances.
