The Ice Hockey World Championship started on May 9th. The hosts of the tournament are sweden and Denmark. Which national teams are you following?

My Latvia must reach the quarter finals of the World Cup.I think Canada and Sweden will play in the final.

I'm rooting for finland this year! They've got a solid lineup and always play with heart. But I agree—Canada is looking really strong, and Sweden has the home advantage. Latvia making it to the quarterfinals would be awesome too! horror games

The Austrian national team got into the top eight for the first time since 1994. It happened thanks to a good game with the main rivals.
They lost minimally to Finland, did not hold the advantage against Sweden in the last minutes, fate turned to face them in the shootout against Slovakia and finally beat Latvia 6-1.

The USA national team became the world champion in hockey. They beat switzerland in extra time, scored the golden goal and dedicated the victory to Johnny Gaudreau.
Sweden won the bronze medals. Denmark got into the top 4 for the first time in its history, but remained without medals.
