In my opinion...

PokerTracker is a MUST have for anyone looking to take their poker seriously. Forget the HUD function - while it is very useful, the ability to log your hands, results, and stats for review is essential to your growth as a player. Identifying leaks and irregular stats, it will more than pay for itself within a year. Consider it an investment in yourself. It is by far, the number one tool anyone could have in online poker.

Simply put in conclusion - again, my personal take - if you aren't willing to invest in poker tracker - then you are not taking your online poker seriously.

Hello. My major subject in College was math. My last 16 years of work, that gave me a very good income. Math and Stats are my love. Poker blends in very well. PT4 also.

For those who are into statistics, reports, leaks, huds, and whatever your imagination can dream up that you wish to know, PT4, to me, is awesome. Not to say to buy it, but to say it is a math-statistical software package, very informative for gaining information about my play and others.
I paid $99 (I know it sounds outrageous), but I have never looked back. I use the information to build on my knowledge of myself mostly. It's like this...If I want to see what the results of playing JJ on Americas Cardroom, I can. If I want to see what I played, how many times, whether I lost or won, I can. If I wish to make my own Excel chart or table that shows what hands have won the most to the hands that lost the most, I can. Lastly, If I wish to see what the results of every possible hand was on each and every site for all 56,000 hands in my database....I can.
Like Excel, PT4 is my kind of software. It does make a difference for me.

My experiences with HUD:
I tested Poker CoPilot and was very convinced with this software. Easy to handle and install, gaves me all the information I needed, no extra database is needed. Although it was designed for Mac it works perfect on my PC with 888 and pokerstars.

To compare I installed also PokerTracker4. A huge tool and I like maths and statistics. Everything can be adjusted to personal belongings. I play Poker for leisure and do not need the deepest details.

For me personal there is a great lack in PT4, I suffer from a severe red/green color vision deficiency (8% of males do this) and in the handhistories spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs where shown only in colors. I see no difference between red and green on screens and so analyzing flushes by a short view is impossible for me. I found in the adjustments no way to change from colors to symbols.
In Poker CoPilot the handhistory with symbols is much better to obeserve for me. So the decision for software was made, uninstalled PT4 and return to CoPilot
But, PT4 imported all handhistories in its own extern database and after that, the handhistories in the folders of PS and 888 were deleted. (Maybe I set somewhere a wrong click during the installation). After starting CoPilot again, all my history was gone

I hate to say this but I feel that playing my game using the putter (any software) is against my constitution. I love the challenge of the game but i mostly play freerolls which is a gamble fer the first hour. so no i dont think its worth it
ty and have a great game win or lose
