Just a computer: collecting statistics, lots of tables. When you play from your phone, the phone icon appears next to Your nickname (at least it used to be) - the regulars can see what device You are playing from. It is considered that if you play with a mobile device, You are a novice (fish).
I play on both. I've been playing on ACR a lot recently and I wish they had more options with the mobile client. I tell you though my favorite mobile client by far is BetOnline! The rest really dont come close to me. But I prefer playing on ACR so I guess computer it is for now!
I play mainly on a desktop computer because multitabling is more convenient. The smartphone treats for emergency gaming e.g. in the event of a power outage.
It depends a lot, if I'm at my house and I intend to dedicate a good time of play, for example tournaments, I choose the computer. On the other hand, if I am going to spend less time and play a low-value cash game, I play on my cell phone even in a more relaxed way.
It is not very common but, from time to time I play while away from home by cell phone, but then I have no other option haha
I guess I have to agree with most people that the freedom of being able to travel while playing on the phone is a positive. For some reason though I have trouble concentrating as much while playing on it. I guess I'm just more comfortable playing on my laptop. I think just being able to find a quiet space and only focus on playing Is the deciding factor for me.
I always play on pc. Haven't found a good mobile software that would work well for me. Feel like I need to be in front of a monitor to really concentrate.
I prefer computer but sometimes is ok on the phone also. When im not home i can play on the phone without problems. So i like both, but i play most of time on computer.
For me personally, everything suits the game on the computer! A large monitor allows you to open the desired number of tables, a comfortable mouse allows you to respond well to all actions, so I do not see any shortcomings! Well, I don’t consider a serious game on a mobile phone (this is not mine). Good luck to everyone and play what is more convenient for you!
I have always played on my computer and never on my telephone. I have my computer hooked up to a 50 in Big TV screen so I can see everything with Bose speakers. It is too bad we cannot actually chat/video via satellite with other players, that would be absolutely cool. I am going on vacation without my computer for three weeks and will have to download the poker starsApp on my telephone. This will be very interesting as I am not computer literate as I am a old man with old school ways. Some how I will navigate through this as I am trying to become a (FRC) member which takes time. I have no games on my telephone nor do I wish any, my hands are big and telephones are small so I will most likely fumble around pressing all the wrong numbers and letters. Long story short I prefer the computer over the telephone. Capo1014
