It is not good news but I think if it had happened a few years ago it would have been much worse news. Now there are no cardschat freerolls on there and they are not nearly as generous with their freebies as they used to be.

Considering what PokerStars has become, I don't think it's a big loss. I think GGPoker is a much more promising project. Of course, it's sad when the number of sites only decreases and not increases, but I think all we can do is play where we can.

Thanks for the info. I did not even notice, that all the polish regulars are gone, but I guess, it helps explaining, why SnG volume and MTT field sizes have dropped even more. I can perhaps understand, why poker sites exit a market, if for instance there are more withdrawals than deposits from that market. But at the same time PokerStars has steadily been losing players since 2011, and I dont really see, how leaving markets will help them turn that development around. At some point it becomes self reinforcing, because players dont find the action, they are looking for, and then they also stop playing.

On a side note PokerStars still operate in Belarus, which seem rather odd to me, if they are trying to clean up their operation by leaving a market like Poland. But what do I know....
