PS cancelled the Sunday Million

Another nail in the coffin for PS .
They replaced the Sunday Million by a so called Sunday Special , 400K gtd , 75$ buy in .

They failed to change the logo but it's definetly gone.
Another step to mediocrity in my opinion...

All this decline is due to the management team. I have said this before. This management does not see the dimensions of all the decisions taken recently. Overconfidence leads to successive losses.

Pokerstars has its merits, but it's gotten much worse! Even customer service that was its differential, has become severely compromised for quite some time.

I think GGPOKER does the job that pokerstars can no longer do.
We should be grateful to the GGpoker management and our friend Daniel, who have a vision that allows all levels of players to play and learn the game for free or at a minimal cost.

It's very sad what's been happening with PokerStars in recent years. Terrible decisions have turned this site, which in previous years had no competition, into one of the worst. I've always said that what's good and works shouldn't be changed.

So glad I used my last bronze pass a few weeks ago in the sunday million. That's what i think about it.

Sad, this was basically their flagship tournament.

Its not legal to play Pokerstars in my country due to regulations, while GGpoker is. I think that adds to the story.

According to this article, it's not permanently gone:

It isn't a surprise, but is sad.
Yesterday I saw like 240k+ players online in GG, while PS has 30-40k regularly

Wow, PS is getting worse and worse. Haven't played there in a while but the incentives for recreational players were not amazing. I guess their business model is not doing that well and they might have difficulty in reaching the guarantees.

You think GG is somehow better than PS !? Rake is higher and they despise Regs, want to turn poker into a casino game. PS is.still.much better than GG. Who cares if an MTT had a lower prize, there will be fewer players.and your ROI similar anyway

Yes, Pokerstars was good in the past, but now GGPOKER is much better and more popular than Pokerstars, and offers all the games Pokerstars has and more and more.
