NEW! 888Poker Visible Player Stats??

I’m very curious to hear thoughts on the new visible player stats shown in tournaments on 888Poker.
We already know online poker is different in the way you can take live in-time notes and even label players. However, the new tournament stats next to each player now lets you know VPIP, PFR, and 3BET percentages, as well as hands played and tournament winnings.
Do you think this is a good addition to 88Poker? If not, why?

The statistics relate only to that particular tournament. But I personally think it's probably a good thing to get players looking at the stats because it certainly shows the players who are aggressive, and possibly those who are tight (you don't know, of course, whether they were just late starting. I like the idea.

For me, these new features have no actual use. I even think they're unnecessary, because they're just an additional burden on software that barely works anyway.

HUDs have been used for a while at 888. I never used them and dont use this one, so I really dont care lol

You can still use external trackers on 888. Though the new feature is still handy as it will show stats from before you joined the (cash) table.

How can you keep track of every player on every table in a tournament without help like this? Notes can't do it.

No, you should figure out how a person plays by playing against him or her, not on there stats.

The vast majority of the field is recreational players that don't use external trackers / HUDs, while most of the regs/ pros use this 3rd party tools... so, when I see a post like No, you should figure out how a person plays by playing against him or her, not on there stats , my first thought is that this is a reg/pro that doesn't want to lose his huge advantage and/or someone that doesn't understand how important this stats are(especially late game in MTTs, or at CGs when you see the stats for a player after a lot of hands played* this HUD shows the stats even before you joined the table/ pool...); so IMO this is a great addition to 888poker and for sure many recreational players will play on this site for longer periods of time because of it...

I like having the stats available. I don't know what's behind the MTT Winnings figure though. Doesn't seem to have any basis in reality, which kind of makes me wonder if the other stats are completely valid.
