Since pokerstars released the last client update it uses a lot of resources CPU 40-95 %, from my PC. (when I have multiple tables opened)
When it is in idle and I don't have tables open, it is like in the picture.

Since they got this new update where you can perform this test (after the update it started automatically ), and guess what the performance test said to have everything on high and max (like it was before the update )

But I noticed that the "Flutter Embedded Browser Client " is starting every time I have Pokerstars opened but it is not closing when I close the Pokerstars App. I have to close it manually from task manager

Does anyone have this problem?

I noticed that PokerStars is really heavier, even though I'm playing much less on it now.

Flutter is a framework that makes an app work on several different 'systems' or cross-platform to better support mobile devices and PCs.
I don't know exactly why it stays open after closing the ps client.

Most of the programs, I mean most of software developers are adapting to average consumer level. This level increases each year, so you must check if your computer or laptop is fresh enough and meets average consumer level or it better be higher that that...

for example:

I've tried playing poker on my 12 year old laptop (it was a quad core beast when I've bought it) and I couldn't play 2 poker rooms approx 8-10 tables in total with comfort... it was freezing, and this laptop has 8gb of old ddr3 ram, quad core processor and win10 - can't install win11 on this one... it used to run very well about 5-6 years ago...

at the other laptop which is 6 months old I have zero issues running all together several heavy programs for 3d modelling like Solidworks and AutoCad together with 50 tabs in 2 browsers and on top of it i have all of the poker sites open at the same time and it consumes only ~60% of system resources... 16 core processor, 64gb ddr5 ram, modern graphic card.

You just need to update your hardware, that's all. Most of the top new pc's or laptops are good for next 5 years, if you're buy cheapest today then don't expect it to be up to date in year 2028...

Yes, this happens here too! After implementing the Aurora Graphics engine, the things started to get worse, resource consumption increased significantly. It should be optional, but the platform made it mandatory. I think it must be to attend demand, even because the target audience has also changed.

Nothing new or surprising. Every update to this site is a problem for users. I think if they didn't make all these stupid innovations, it's quite possible that there would be much more active players.

My PC is way above average. Is a costume PC that I made myself, it a $5000 PC. I can stream 4K on it, I can do a lot of stuff, I used to make home design project on it. So it not the PC, it has something to do with the last update from Pokerstars. I did not have any problems with it until the last update.

that 'Performance Test' it came up for me on the last update but when it recommended I use 'High Settings' for better performance I clicked on Cancel and I've never had it come up again since.
I haven't played very often on Stars but at night sometimes I will open up 4 ZOOM tables for 10mins. and I didn't see any changes but just now I looked at my Task Manager and I think it is using more CPU % vs. before the update.

Why break a good thing? This sh1t they add is so lame.

Recently I had uninstalled pokerstars from my system, because in my country pokerstar did not want to regulate itself in Bets, so as the poker system is in disrepute, due to the high variations I ended up uninstalling the system. So far I haven't played on any site. I ended up spending hours and hours playing and never building up my bankroll, just having to make do with excuses without the slightest credibility.

"Performance Test" is under "Graphics".

...it's been a while since I played on PokerStars, but I usually leave Aurora Graphics disabled and the animations like the bubble, ITM and final table I also leave disabled. I always leave the animation options on medium or low, never on high, this has helped me a lot.

I believe they could coexist, however, the platform implementing the Aurora Graphics feature as mandatory instead of optional was an unfriendly signal.

They are taking measures against valuehunterz who play one 25 cent spin/day to release the daily pp ticket. Muuuuh.

I am still trying to update the app on my laptop. All it does is keeps popping the downloading files over and over but never reopens and I don’t know if it’s even working. Help!

Hi. Uninstall and delete all related files. Then reinstall.

Hope that helped.
