Is It Still Worth Playing on 888Poker After All the Withdrawal Problems?

I’ve noticed that more and more players are complaining about issues with cashing out from 888Poker. Some say they’ve had repeated KYC checks, documents rejected without clear explanations, and long delays in processing withdrawals.
It makes me wonder: if people struggle to cash out even $20, what happens when you have $1,000+ on the line?
Personally, I’m starting to think that maybe we are just wasting our time on this platform. Especially since sites like pokerstars and GGPoker seem to process withdrawals much smoother and without so many obstacles.
What do you all think? Is it still worth playing on 888Poker, or is it better to move to another platform with fewer headaches?

I also had trouble withdrawing this year, but I managed to revalidate my account by resubmitting the requested documents. However, I'm seeing more and more complaints about withdrawals from 888. Even the agencies that accept dollars are no longer working with 888. They say it's unreliable. It's complicated. It's time to reconsider the viability of continuing to play on an App like this.

Complaints are the most effective way to influence such operators. Much more complaints would be - that means such operators will start operating legally or disappear altogether. I am also complaining about 888 right now.

To me it sounds like legitimate concerns - - not wanting to put in the time on a site that they don't feel confident will even pay them out.
I was surprised that they asked me to do the verification process again. I've played on 888 for 18years, have made many deposits and withdrawals (& player to player transfers). I made a deposit awhile ago so that my account would be updated with this method (e-transfer) as I'd done with ALL of my accounts. Followed by a withdrawal on ALL of my accounts so that they'd be all running smoothly for future withdrawals (if I were fortunate to have any, lol). 888 is the only one that gave me grief... and unfortunately for myself, the place I'm currently residing at includes utilities with the rent so there is no separate bill coming to me in the mail with which to verify my address (seems photo I.D. (Driver's License), & Passport are not enough).

I have experienced a site in the past that gradually had slower Withdrawal times... and slower... and slower until I lost $1,700 on that site ('LockPoker'). I can understand why people would be concerned with 888 these days

Personally I would not be to worried, and without dismissing the experiences, some forum members have had, its common sense, that we always hear about it, when something does not work, but we dont always hear about it, when something work. So these issues are likely still more the exception than the rule. But that being said withdrawals from 888 Poker have always taken a bit longer than both PokerStars and ACR Poker, so a bit more planning ahead is needed, when you want to withdraw. And as with all other gambling sites dont have money sitting there, that you can not afford to lose, should things go completely wrong for whatever reason.

The parallel with Disneyland. Haha. I'm joking. It's just that not everyone has the same luck at an amusement park. Some win, some don't. So, I think this is the example. I'm speaking for myself: I never had any withdrawal issues with 888 until now. Usually, it only takes a day for the transfer. But siruously, sorry. I don't want to minimize the troubles for the rest of the players.

This is spot on. It’s a great place for beginners to play freerolls but I would not recommend keeping large amounts of your br on this site while it’s in such a state of decline.

The site is very thorough in this regard when it comes to document verification issues. Documents must be in the player's name. It makes no sense for the site to prevent a player from playing on the site if all documents are correct. The more players on the site, the more profits the site generates.
If a poker site has problems processing player payments, it will be reported on specialized websites that cover poker news.
