I'm beginning to think the 888poker Multi-prize wheel is rigged

I registered at 888poker in 2020, and have ever since rolled the Multiprize Wheel pretty much religiously. How is it possible that in a wheel where all the sectors are equally sized, not one time I get anything else but always the same Freeroll sector???? Wouldn't it be much easier just to drop the freeroll ticket to everyone? Or there could be a tick for wanting or not wanting to receive the ticket. Why do they want adult people to play with some kind of wheel that actually is not even a wheel? Do they consider us complete retards?

Has anyone ever won anything else than the freeroll ticket to that tournament that is more a raffle than a poker tournament?

Of course it's 'rigged', the chances of winning each prize will be weighted dependant on their value, it's not really a wheel so the size of the sectors is irrelevant.

As you say a freeroll ticket will be the most common prize. I won $5 Casino spins once having played every week of 2025.

It's impossible to get anything else than the freeroll ticket for people who rake little to none
It's the same for me..but I know people who play there regularely and those who rake more get a chance for different wheel prizes.

But I still won't count on it lol

Let's start with the fact that you had vain expectations and this is definitely not a problem with this wheel
If you expected that in 5 years you would still be able to get a valuable prize, then perhaps the problem lies in your naivety.
In general, you have two options, you either spin this wheel and get the ticket that is given to everyone or don't spin and don't get the ticket that is given to everyone

Seriously though, it's not really rigged, it is just such a common trick in gambling (and outside of gambling too) that it is just a tradition at this point. Never trust the sector sizes and whatever other displayed chance hints there are.

Completely Off topic messag. I did not in any way express my desire to receive or not receive the tickets or other prices. I was just talking abou the wheel.

I just think it's kind of boring to make it look like a wheel what does not act as a wheel. Makes one wonder if there is some sort of favoritism when dealing cards too, according to how much you have paid rakes and bought entrances to tourneys. Would make sense with similar reasoning.

It is not rigged, it is regulated.

There is a nice little sentence in the small print part (TOS) at the bottom of the spinner:

“Country restrictions apply”

Means if no big wins allowed due to regulations, you can’t win big.

The problem is not being rigged or not, it's the absence of odds. pokerstars used to have a similar whell, but they said % of each prize

Unfortunately, this wheel only has one prize option: a ticket to a tournament, a bingo tournament. But in my opinion, it's better to have such a ticket than not to have any
