at least 20% of players on every poker site play with multiple accounts, but by doing so they are only fooling themselves because they think they can win more, it doesn't happen and life becomes more and more complicated

only those cases where the players are caught come to light, but how many cases are not exposed
and remember that poker sites are smart with their technology and even if they know that someone is playing with multiple accounts, it doesn't mean that you will be blocked on the first day - they will wait until you win, for example, 10,000 in one day and then block you instantly
20% - Can’t wait to see you proving this number.
PS. I absolute do not believe you.
As for people with multi accounts, they should be banned for life

A wild and ubsubstantiated number does Indeed
I could say 1% or 7% but it wouldn't be that effective would you believe it more?
approximate predictions are from 1% to 20%

why then such a question arises even in such an innocent place as cardchat..

Of course you can, many people do this if their account is banned or they are underage.

I have no Independent sources that can be double checked. But off course there are people who violates ToS. How many I Don’t know. My guess would be in the ballpark of 5%. I simply do not understand the logic behind multi accounts. It’s illegal and if it gets detected the culprits will have their accounts - and money - frozen. Add to this that both pokerrooms and sportsbooks have serious issues with money laundering.

the question is: why dont you just open your own account?
That would solve any issues really.
