Don't expect to learn poker from freerolls, though. Just deposit some money and start playing, it's much faster. You will make a few cents per week or month, depending how much you play ( from freerolls, that is).
I strongly agree with this. If its just about getting some experience and learning the fundamentals of the game without risking any money, then play money cash tables are much better for this than freerolls, because they run all the time. On
pokerstars you can practice on play money tables using the exact same software and features as on regular tables. You can even use auto top-up and a HUD (tracker), if you want to.
So essentially the play money tables on PokerStars can be seen as 0NL, and then the next level up is 2NL, where you can go as soon as you feel, you got the basics sorted out and money for a first deposit of say $50. Trying to earn those $50 for a starting bankroll by playing freerolls is a total waste of time, even if you live in a low or mid income country, as OP seem to do.
