PokerGo embarrasing themselves. First PokerGo goes down, so they decide to stream their main feed on youtube, then that goes down.
A lot of tourneys from the
wsop were streamed at both YouTube and PokerGO, and now including the Final Table of the main event... makes me wonder if people who just buy PokerGO for 1-3 months during the WSOP if they feel they've gotten their moneys worth since the games are being streamed for free anyway.
I'm an advocate for the big games being streamed for free, especially the Main Event. That's how you help grow the game. Can you imagine the Super Bowl being behind a pay wall? Which ironically, I think was talked about in the past and was quickly shot down.
Personally, I think PokerGO should stream more games from circuit events from the WSOP and mid-tier/regional poker tours like the MSPT. And still stick with some of the smaller events from the main WSOP like they are doing behind their paywall. But not the Final Table of the Main Event.
