There have been plenty of rumors for years about his debts. Nothing new to see here sadly. Quite honestly quite a few high stakes supposed pro's or guys that like to think they are "pros" that are trash human beings like Dwan and don't pay their debts. The majority of high stakes players so called pro's aren't worth looking up too or even giving the time of day. They either owe a bunch of money they'll never pay or are outright cheats.

Poker is in a pretty sad state of affairs right now. Not much in the way of positive news and things happening to really attract any new eyes and new players to the game.

Sad story about Dwan. gambling addiction and debt. At least Gus Hansen is honest about being a degenerate gambler. This is what he told in a Danish podcast 4-5 years ago. He also stated that he lost $20 millions online due to mainly tilt. As far as I know Gus ain’t broke though.
Many so called pros are playing with other People’s money or have a terrible BRM.
And not every pro is as sympathetic as Barry Greenstein. Some are quite the opposite.
