Interesting stuff, thanks. I watched the video and thought about this. I am not an expert in the security and integrity of the game. However, this story is suitable for the plot of a poker-themed feature film. It remains to write a script and find a producer.
Well, there might be some aspect of this event which could translate to an article but I am not sure it would make a movie. A player peaking at someone's cards is not going to hold anyone's interest for 90 minutes.
But, I do think players colluding raises the stakes in terms of a story. The juncture which really drew attention was when Skillrocks appeared to have kicked another player under the table to warn him out of the hand. But again, even if a screenwriter could write a compelling story, I believe that would only compel poker players to watch and that is a small market.
Further - and I will exercise some restraint here -pre Christmas there were several allegations which became public concerning player collusion, and they were credible. But apart from the initial indignant reaction, the matter seemed to get little traction as though people accepted it was a part of the game. The poker public did not seem interested. So, if not interested in real life (when they could unwittingly be 'taken' themselves) I am not sure they would be interested in the screen adaptation.
