Interesting stuff, thanks. I watched the video and thought about this. I am not an expert in the security and integrity of the game. However, this story is suitable for the plot of a poker-themed feature film. It remains to write a script and find a producer.

Well, there might be some aspect of this event which could translate to an article but I am not sure it would make a movie. A player peaking at someone's cards is not going to hold anyone's interest for 90 minutes.

But, I do think players colluding raises the stakes in terms of a story. The juncture which really drew attention was when Skillrocks appeared to have kicked another player under the table to warn him out of the hand. But again, even if a screenwriter could write a compelling story, I believe that would only compel poker players to watch and that is a small market.

Further - and I will exercise some restraint here -pre Christmas there were several allegations which became public concerning player collusion, and they were credible. But apart from the initial indignant reaction, the matter seemed to get little traction as though people accepted it was a part of the game. The poker public did not seem interested. So, if not interested in real life (when they could unwittingly be 'taken' themselves) I am not sure they would be interested in the screen adaptation.

The juncture which really drew attention was when Skillrocks appeared to have kicked another player under the table to warn him out of the hand.

Thinking the situation over again it was probably not to "warn him out of the hand". The other player was BTN and closing action, and obviously it would be best for Skillrocks, if he checked behind, because then Skillrocks could see a free river card and realise his equity. With two pair he had 4 outs to boat up. So rather than only help his friend, Skillrocks was also trying to help himself as well.

And just like Mike Postle he got to greedy here. Rather than make a fold, which immedeatly raised suspicion even with the commentators, he should just have accepted his fate and called. Because well, thats what people tend to do, when they have two pair. And then maybe - just maybe - he could get away, if Berry raised the turn or jammed the river ;)

Just watched the video. Good teaching point to protect your hole cards when playing live. Skillsrock is A-hole
It’s not to obviously at first someone is cheating but there’s there abnormal betting action between people sitting next to each other than suspect something like that.

It's sometimes unbelievable what some people will try to get away with, risking their entire reputation for a few minutes of fame or a few extra bucks.

I saw the entirety of the video to get to my own conclusions, he was up to something but you cant tell exactly what it was, but he was doing something sketchy, at some point I can see him peeking at the opponent, but I don't know ... Ban is something hard right? even criminals get second chances in trials, could give a time frame like a year or two, then if it happens again ban for life, you have to give anyone a second chance to redeem at his bad behavior
