This will get challenged in the courts for sure.

So, if you allow gaming within the state lines as legal, how can you ensure that the servers aren't located out of state, and how can you ensure that the traffic from those servers does not go out of state?

Doesn't pass my smell test. I love the "testing process" by regulators. How many hours did your tax dollars pay for these folks to play poker online.

i thought you had to be a resident of NV to play. so anyone can take
a trip to Vegas and play online poker once this is up and running?

What they'll ensure is that the players are Nevada residents and are playing from within Nevada, and that the owners are licensed in Nevada and that the servers and account information is located within Nevada.

All those things are doable.

it does seem like it is a small market with only 2,723,322 people living in Nevada. It is a good start though. I am sure I will have to move to play online anyways so Nevada gets better and better

Say what you will about Nevada being a small market. At least they dont hesitate to get things rolling. Im happy about it and am actively looking at transferring my job to the state if i can.
