I'm not so sure he's got them all paid off yet. I seen thread on 2+2 the other day. There's still a couple guys claiming to be owed from back in 2019 :ROFLMAO:. Who knows thou as I wouldn't exactly trust players at that level to be telling the truth. That includes either side. And at this point with the rep and track record that man has if one is stupid enough to loan him money they pretty much get what they deserve.

Anyway dudes I complete piece of trash and doesn't pay his debts. Regardless of how good he plays poker.

Cheers!!!

Honestly, it does sound like a vicious cycle – playing on credit, hoping to win big enough to pay it back, but often just digging the hole deeper. In some ways it looks less like professional discipline and more like straight gambling addiction. At the same time, you can’t deny that winning 20 Circuit rings is an incredible accomplishment that shows real skill at the tables. The irony is that such success might actually make it harder for him to escape the debt rumors, since people will always question where the money goes. If he really is still owing from years back, then the recent win could be both a blessing and a curse. Hopefully he finds a way to clear his name and not just keep adding trophies while the debt talk follows him around.

This ^ would the way a lot of people would think... but do you think this is how Maurice thinks? He has shown that he pays back ZERO immediately after taking down a big score (1st place) > ZERO! Do you think he's hoping to 'win big enough to pay it back'?
I don't think he'd pay back his debts if he won the WSOP Main Event. I believe 'a win' for Maurice is when he doesn't pay back a person.

I'm surprised he hasn't had his legs broken.

Maurice deserves a round of applause for establishing history with 20 WSOP rings! This guy is a beast, to be honest.
I think it's fair to say that he's now in a class by himself. Winning a ring is one thing, but 20? That's a completely different level of
talent and consistency. What do you think he'll aim for next? I can't imagine he'll quit at 20 rings, right? Looking forward to seeing
how his journey goes. Thanks for sharing Shells, cheers!
