Well, without Americans it is much less interesting at the tables, at least because I connect all of my childhood impressions of poker with western movies, cowboys and saloons, bring them back please as soon as it is posssible.

I live in Scotland but I think it is a disgrace that players in America have been unable to play online.I hope it works out for you.

I think this is brilliant news! I used to have a lot of friends from America who I played against on-line regularly. It should have happened years ago especially with this pandemic closing many of the casinos out there. On-line Poker has kept me sane over the last twelve months.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I would be willing to use my "one time" to get a federal solution.

Would be great, definitely new networks would start the online poker, and the actually working ones could get a boost. (And probably it would be more popular worldwide, if the mainstream flow pick it up again.) Perhaps within few years it could go back to the same level, where it was a decade ago...

Considering the dramatic increase in LEGAL Sports Betting that has been occurring in the U.S. in the last couple of years, it should not come as a surprise that Poker will follow suit at some point.

After all, gambling is gambling and state and local governments want some way to earn a fee from it to offset all of the tax losses they have suffered through the last year's lock downs.

I don't see many of them standing in the way of this type of court ruling.

Good evening to you all. It looks like the Appellate Court has ruled against the DOJ in the case against online poker which could possibly clear the way for online poker to come back in the United States in all 50 states what do you think of this recent development that just happened about 5 hours ago. https://www.pokernews.com/news/2021/...-act-38556.htm

I just read that article, things are looking more promising than ever for online poker. It's only fair. How could a game that requires so many skills and so much patience could be compared to sports betting or any other kind of gambling ?
It is true that the luck factor exists in poker, but doesn't it impact most of life's aspects ? Does it stop people from investing in every possible commodity there is ? In stock market, real estate and so on despite the risk ?
I think most of people who are against poker just don't really know the game that much. They let their ego get the best out of them, but that's what politicians are all about. Nothing matters to them more than winning. So sad.
