My primary benefit has come from making use of its algorithm, as things that increase my Klout score increase my effectiveness on social media. As for giving +Ks, it's helped me to gain followers who are active and effective in social media, helping us in the process.

I'm currently the +1 +K recipient in "Poker", "Congress", and online poker (Industry)." I think that helps to bring people to the effort, as people see me listed in Klout and check it out.
